Founded in 2005 as a private client, intermediary and institutional stockbroker, Cenkos Channel Islands Limited is a subsidiary of Cenkos Securities plc, which is a member of the London Stock Exchange and is authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority to provide institutional broking and related corporate services. Cenkos Securities plc was admitted to the Alternative Investment Market in October 2006.

Cenkos Channel Islands Limited is licensed and regulated by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and was admitted to the Channel Islands Stock Exchange in December 2007 and is also a member of the London Stock Exchange.

In 2008 we doubled the size of the Guernsey operation following the recruitment of an experienced broking and investment management team, the latter forming Cenkos Channel Islands Investment Management Limited, which is licensed and regulated by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. 2008 also saw the opening of an office in Jersey, Cenkos Jersey Limited, which is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission in the conduct of Investment Business.
